Hugh Jackson
joined Coldwell Banker Commercial Cornerstone in
December of 2001 with over fifteen years of experience
in corporate real estate.
Hugh began in the real
estate business in 1983 as he joined an ERA Real Estate
franchised company and spent three years as an agent
marketing residential property. He then became property
manager and purchasing agent for both Sumter Dairies,
Inc. and Young’s Food Stores, Inc. Soon thereafter, he
became a managing partner in a successful residential
subdivision located in Sumter. Hugh earned his S.C.
real estate broker license in 1992 and, in 1995, was
promoted to V.P. of Real Estate and Store Development
with Young’s Food Stores, Inc. His primary
responsibilities included site selections, lease
negotiations, coordinating construction, store
acquisitions and dispositions, and overall management of
company assets. He was involved with growing the
convenience store chain to over forty-five stores and
was directly responsible for negotiating and
coordinating over twenty new ground-up locations.
Hugh’s skills and
extensive experience have proven to be an asset to
Coldwell Banker Commercial Cornerstone and his clients
continue to profit from the knowledge he has gained
during his career.
Hugh is a 1980 graduate
of the University of South Carolina with a B.S. degree
in Business Management.
He and his wife Vicki
have four sons and reside in Sumter, S.C. |
