Seaboard
Properties was formed in Florence in 1993
and, with Jay Davis as partner and
Broker-in-Charge, subsequently opened a
Sumter office in 1997. Through the addition
of exceptional agents and with the support
of loyal clients like you, the Sumter office
has grown to become the area’s dominant
leader of commercial real estate services,
and we
thank you for your business.
Because of this success and believing in the
future of Sumter and the surrounding area as
our core market, a partnership group
consisting of Jay, Stephen DesChamps, and
Stephen Dinkins pursued the purchase of 100%
ownership of the Sumter office. We are
delighted to say that this group has
successfully negotiated this purchase and
recently finalized this transaction.
What does this
mean for you, our client? You’ll only need
to call us by a new name and, later this
year, we will be in a new location.
Beginning June 1, 2005, we will be
Coldwell Banker Commercial Cornerstone.
Therefore, all of our marketing
materials (including signage) and office
documents will be updated with the new
name. Sometime later this year, we will be
moving our office to 2 North Main Street,
better known as the former Bank of Sumter
Building on the corner of Main and Liberty
Streets. Otherwise, we will still have the
same staff of experienced agents and office
personnel, so you can expect the same
high-level client service that we have built
our business upon. We will retain our
affiliations with Coldwell Banker Commercial
and the CCIM network (Certified Commercial
Investment Member), and will increase our
participation in the Carolinas Group, a
consortium of all the Coldwell Banker
Commercial offices in North and South
Carolina. We are committed to being the
absolute best commercial real estate firm in
our area by providing unsurpassed experience
and specialized service to our clients.
